eBay is great to sell individual issues, but issues under $10 don’t move because it doesn’t make sense to pay shipping on that low an item.

Have you seen the backlash re: raw book grading? You invite a high risk of returns by stating a subjective grade that the customer can "disagree" with if they change their mind.

I've found selling in lots has been more successful. Unless it's a key -- customers don't want to pay $8 shipping + tax for a single $10-12 book.

mycomicshop always has plenty of negative feedback but they sell thousands a month the ratio is always between 99.9% to 100% just because of the volume but they are never 100% with no negatives

10 years on ebay and I just meet my first scam troll who is currently with holding tracking (25 days after purchase) because they want me to cancel the open case (asking them to ship), then they will provide correct tracking. This is almost enough for me to leave ebay. Even after 10 years.

Successful sniper here. Good advice. People complain about fees but you cannot find a bigger audience for your stuff than eBay. Just beware, that "no returns" doesn't really mean anything when eBay is asked to get involved. I've received a refund, thanks to eBay, every time a seller tried to screw me... despite their "no returns allowed". Sometimes you even get to keep the item free... like my UF4.

Ebay also charges a fee calculated on the shipping cost. A "final shipping value" fee. Makes me never want to ship internationally ever again!

Been victimized by sniping and lost out on so many bids - it's hard to live halfway across the world which means bids end early morning here. Eveno now that I've started to bid in the last 5-10 seconds, I still end up losing!
