Hi, been following you for a while now and you might have done it, but I couldn’t see it, could you cover a ‘crash call’? I’m a nursing student in the UK and I loved every minute of it and have enjoyed your videos. I know this is a little off topic from the academic side, but I think it’s important to talk about experiences that we have as nurses. When I did a placement in ED (emergency department, formally known as accident and emergency or A&E, which the public seems to think means anything and everything) I was confronted with a cardiac arrest, maybe you could cover this? Would you also consider showing some more clinical skills? Bloods? Cannulations? Thanks CW

Use your husband as your subject, sure he can lose 5ml of blood?? 🤣

Charlie Wilkins, we are so happy to hear you love the resources and are finding them helpful! YAY! We don't have a specific video for cardiac arrest, but we do have a video for myocardial infarction which might be helpful for you too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/enqndmecarWHe8k We will add your suggestions to our list for future videos, we love hearing what our students want to learn about most! Thank you for being here, friend!!

do you have any tips for remembering normal lab values? :) I know there are many videos available, but I would love to hear how you would go about doing it!

Kenzie Mac, lab values are one of those things you just have to memorize and learn, unfortunately! We do have a lab value cheat sheet right here : nursingschoolofsuccess.com/signup it will help you!

Pharm is sprinkled in throughout my program. At my school they call it a concept based learning curriculum.
@NursingSOS2 жыл бұрын
rocachick860, that is common as well. It will work both ways, and you will learn the medications regardless! Some find it easier to be learning them as you learn the concepts rather than in the pharmacology course. You are doing better than you think you are, friend!! Keep the faith!
