Liked your window build this ones cool to but just like the windows extra embelishments really bring out a roof as well a cap of another material maybe post placed periodically that pop up vertically maybe house a small light in the middle but love the building in this game it truly can get you invested for many hours playing with designs and getting stuff just right but can also be casual not everyone wants that but its here for us build freaks! Lol great content keep up the good work man

Question? I can't figure out how to apply individual roof tiles? I change to smallest block - but I cannot choose my roof tiles - it defaults to building blocks - not roofing blocks - how do I choose single roof blocks?

Put the roof tile in your quick bar and put it f9wn as an individual block rather than having using the construction menu with the hammer

In your Dormer section, you're over-complicating it somewhat. Your method was to select a regular roof tile, then make the a-frame and then just angle the same tile 90 degrees to close the gaps in the roof on either side. The problem with this method is that from inside, if you were to want to use the attic for example, you would have some cleanup as there would be geometry poking through the roof due to the 4 sections you placed overlapping in the way they have to. Instead, just use the (inverse) 90 degree roof tile, twice. You achieve the same look outside (you will maybe need to extend it out a bit, but that's no biggie) while keeping it clean on the inside, and it's frankly faster too. **EDIT** Specifically the "Inner Roof Corner" tile, either size obviously, just wanted to clarify the exact name for it. Otherwise some really great roofing tips and ideas here! Love the video!

I wish you had a face cam because I can't for the life of me believe that you're saying this with a straight face. The title of that first section of the video is literally "What are roofs?". Bro, what is this? A third grader's essay? No one is gonna sit there with a clipboard and check off things like "Does the video have an introduction?". How about this? "In a world where it's becoming increasingly obvious that game developers don't take their audience seriously whatsoever and couldn't value the buyers' time any less, getting straight down to the nitty-gritty when producing videos is a refreshing and much welcomed change of pace."
