Great informative demo. Couldnt really see the 'changes' as the heat tool went over - exception was the large snowflake background stamp

It's very hard to show on camera, without a professional camera person filming. You can definitely see the twinkle of the embossing glitters when they turn in real life :)

This video coincidentally popped up just as I recently received my new WOW heat gun and embossing powders. When I first started card making I purchased a bunch of no-name, low-name brands. That heat gun died over the holidays, and I decided to buy the WOW gun and replace some of my powders with WOW as well. This video is perfect timing; I look forward to using them.

I find that holding the heat gun close to the card before it is properly heated up causes the card to warp, I hold mine away until hot so it starts to melt the powder straight away.

Fantastic video for tips and tricks Chloe. Need to get a small metal spoon for powders - do i need to keep it enclosed in a bag too, like with the anti-static pad? So its away from dust/glitters etc? Loving the sneaks peeks for 2024 ❤ I already have ideas for the Classics Vol 3 stamp.

How I use clear embossing powder much of the time is I stamp my image in whatever ink color I am wanting to use. Clean my stamp and then emboss with the clear embossing powder right over my stamped image. Since it’s clear it shows the ink color you initially stamped your image in. Hope that helps. 🙂

I like the WOW embossing pad but found I did not get as good a result with words even when using the detail EP. It is so thick that my results were not good.

If you’re finding this happening you may be pressing down too hard on the ink pad when inking your stamp, lots of light taps tend to work best 😊

I was wondering what you use to clean your stamps when using embossing ink. I have been using Dawn dishwashing soap. I clean right away afraid if it dries it won’t come off the stamp. I noticed I never see you clean or wipe your stamps.

We wash all of ours at the end warm water with a little washing up liquid in and then leave to air dry naturally
