I loooove my wolf spiders!! I have one that I call my lava girl, because she has a very visible (in person) red tint to her legs and blacks/greyish!!! I REALLY want to add Velvet spiders to what I have!!! But they definitely cost a lot 🥹

Wolfs are amazing. And underrated in my opinion. I wish the price would go down on Eresus but don’t see it happening any time soon. We need more breeders especially of those expensive spiders, hopefully soon people start breeding more🤞🏻

I started with a wolf and a jumper :) By complete accident, thats just what was available. THey are both such PERFECT spiders for a literal first timer like me. Of course it lead to me getting a pink toe avic avic.. and arizona blonde... i think im adicted! ;)

Haha jumpers are gateway, that's how it starts. Both Avic and AZ blond are great and docile. I really like versicolor, I would go with that over avic.

I agree with this presentation on wolf spiders. I've owned a few Hogna Carolinensis and Tigrosa Georgicolas and they are absolutely incredible invertebrates. Beautiful, fast and definitely hungry critters. Wished they lived a little longer.

wolf spiders are underrated. I currently own a S. avida and H. carolinensis

@@SpiderCafe good luck! H. carolinensis is hard to find online since the most common wolves sold are Hogna miami, lenta, and the Porto Santo wolf spider

@@SpiderCafe hey there, I don’t, but I recently got a Linothele fallax… I never owned a spider besides a tarantula so it’s my first but they are great. I know they aren’t the best beginners but care is pretty straight forward 😃
