And it was celebritory fiftieth aniversary attack bent on revenge, so the fact is that palestinians are not seeking peace. That lust for revenge needs to be addressed no matter what happens. Notice that there wasnt a war in respinse to the last intifada or centuries of arab pogroms on non muslims. Not only is this war new, but as per the false narative of palestinian victimhood, this was an avoidable war invited by hamas.
