@@connorharrison Yah I would love 😍 both ALIENS 3 & Resurrection on 4K UltraHD💿 & we will have to wait & see if we ever eventually get those films on 4K💿!! 🤟 I’m glad Universal is still continuing to release catalog restorations of their films especially all these cgi & animated films though I’m hopeful we start to get some Don Bluth & Steven Spielberg animated films with new 4K restorations on 4K UHD💿 soon too!!👌😉

I might get Quigley Down Under at some point. I'm really hoping for slipcover releases of Lawrence of Arabia and Citizen Kane on 4k. I'd also love to see Cowboys and Aliens, The Last Samurai, The Count of Monte Cristo (2001) White Heat and Tombstone released on 4k eventually.

@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia love em all as I’m a big proponent of physical media for many reasons you yourself have so perfectly articulated. I have tried to build a nice home theater. 82 inch TV not top of the line but pretty nice. When I watch streaming (which is great for convenience) I can see such a drop off in picture quality it drives me nuts. And thats with high speed internet. Physical media is simply the best quality and my favorite way to watch movies. I think folks like you are helping us fans keep physical media alive and I applaud you for it! Thank you for your passion and hard work!

I heard rumors that True Lies, Aliens and The Abyss are postponed to end april? Please tell me that is NOT true? *EDIT: OK that is great news because they will then see that we want this really and many many people want. SO that gives me hope for future releases. Only thing is that some will have to wait a little longer.*

Aliens YES finally! But will the extended version be on the 4k disc or just the blue ray? Like what they did with ST Wrath of Khan. The extended version was on the BR disc only. The Running man and Dragonslayer? My wallet is going to be hurting March 12. I have over 300 movies. I will continue to collect physical media just like I still read books and magazines.

Awesome James! A lot of fantastic films coming out. I used your Amazon affiliate link and preordered "The Running Man" Steel Book. I know what it is like to have health challenges and if I can help out your channel by using your affiliate link, then that is a win-win. I've been a huge Arnold Schwarzenegger movie fan since I was a kid in the 80s and seeing Conan The Barbarian. It is nice to see more 4k UHD releases of Arnold's films. I am hoping for some of the more rare things like "Pumping Iron" and "Hercules in New York" on 4k UHD, just because I like collecting Arnold's complete filmography. Thanks for the fantastic videos and passing along the comparison reviews and the upcoming releases.

I'm hoping that Charlie & The Chocolate Factory will get a 4K Blu-ray release soon. I bought the Gene Wilder and the new one on 4K. What's your opinion? Should I go ahead and get the Blu-ray of the Johnny Depp one? Or do you think it'll eventually get a 4K release & I should wait?

We have pre-orders for" Who Shot Liberty Valance," the musical, "The Color Purple," "The Abyss," "Aliens," "True Lies," "Kung Fu Panda," and "Once Upon A Time I The West." All on 4K, and "The Shootist" on Blu-ray. We already have "Dragon Heart" on 4K. You are still the best! Thanks for your good work.

Reviews and our feelings about a film play a major part in purchasing the film on physical media.We do many blind-buys, which all of those we listed were. There are 4Ks we wish we hadn't bought ... mostly quality issues. However, it was the good review of "Dragon Heart" that had us purchasing it. We read reviews even after the purchase. We just bought 3 films from the Criterion Flash Sale! "The Roaring Twenties," "McCabe and Mrs, Miller" (read the review first), and "In the Mood for Love," all on 4K. Often times the timing of a Flash sale doesn't allow for a review to get out. We used your link for "Oceans 11 & 12, right after your announcement. If we were to pick 2 from the 4Ks we listed that we're most excited about, they would be "The Abyss" and "Aliens." Runners-up: "The Color Purple" and "Once Upon a Time in The West." We've had a passable DVD of "The Shootist" for years, but are really looking forward to the Arrow Blu-ray. Arrow does great work. We have their 4K of " The Last Emperor," "Robinhood Prince of Thieves," "Robo Cop," and "Hugo." We just received "Darkman" on 4K from Shout. Your reviews are a great help, including your announcements for our blind-buys. Really hoping to see more 20th Century Fox releases. Again thanks for your hard work. What we really appreciate is how prepared you are. You give your review, get to the point and don't go off on pointless side-tracks. In a word ... Professional. Much appreciated.

14:40 1986 not 1996 :) I actually saw the FULL cast of Aliens at the AlienExpo in Calgary in 2016 for the 30 year anniversary of the film.. it was epic! The first time they were altogether in 30 years.

The Aliens Theatrical version is the best cut of this film. The extended version reduces the pacing of the film as well as introducing an early spoiler that definitely ruins the plot/storyline later on. However, the extended version is worth watching 1x-2x ...but as said the original Theatrical cut is 100% the best! 🙂
