I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: don’t worry about what’s “trendy.” Do what makes YOU happy. Because in a few years it will trend back to full coverage anyway! Don’t let other people’s definition of what is trendy make your decisions for you.

I have already forseen this and full coverage wont really be making a comeback, eyeshadows, highlighters and lip products will be dramatic and stuff like foundation and powder will be used less and less because people would want to show their face basically however full coverage concealer will be a thing

At some point though you look like that mom whose 90's eyeliner is embarrassing, unprofessional, and unflattering. If you don't care, fine, but I don't want to be that person who lost touch with what comes to be considered more flattering.

@@MilwaukeeWoman just because something is current does not make it flattering. Especially because everyone has a different face and what works for one doesn’t work for everyone. I like to try each trend and ask myself honestly, does this work for me? Does my current look work for me? Or is there some other technique that would make me look best. Each time there’s a new trend I ask these questions and occasionally I adopt it into my routine but I do not do something just for trendy purposes. If people think I look outdated, okay fine for them, but I like to do my makeup according to what I like and what I feel like flatters me the most.

That's 100% true! Though, I still like to try out trends, cause sometimes I discover some new tricks or techniques that work for me as well. I don't care to follow trends. I just like to check if there's a reason something became a trend 😇

7:00 yeah this "new trend" is basically just underpainting and traditional highlighting that drag queens have been doing for decades! it DEFINITELY works. less product with a MEANINGFUL placement, blended in to trick the eye and work with light to make it seem as though the face is lifted 🔥

For everyone wondering about the eyeshadow - it is from Clionadh Cosmetics, they don't have an actual palette like you see in the video - they just sell them in single format, but do have an empty palette to put them in 👍

This is my third time watching this video. I need full coverage due to hyperpigmentation on my cheeks that's driving me nuts. I love watching Nikki tutorials she is fun and I love the makeup. Since the whole staying in thing I stopped wearing makeup. 2 years has me lost on what to do how to cover. I'm going on a binge watch for full coverage sweatproof, humidity proof ,smooth makeup for oily t zone dry cheeks. I love how she puts on makeup it's awesome. I'm going to Sephora and drugstore to get my primers and powders, I just wish I could find a foundation that matches my skin tone. Since going without makeup my colors changed again plus the hyperpigmentation from masks.

I love Euphoria eye makeup, but as a girl with super oily skin and acne scars, I will not be switching over to cream products and will be staying on team powder and team full coverage foundation! Grateful that Nikkie is one of the few people who still mostly sticks to that. I also think some makeup techniques really depend on your face shape and that it's not necessarily flattering for everyone to use the same blush placement.
