I am trying to navigate the dating world after 50 and it's definitely not for the faint of heart. I was dating a guy whom I really really liked during the same time as you were dating Mr. Yellowstone and he broke it off with me about 3 weeks ago. Said he couldn't give me what I want and minimized the relationship. I believe he is avoidant as well and I'm anxious attached. I finally started therapy last week and am looking forward to focusing on myself and healing before I jump back out there. Most important of all, I'm letting Jesus take the wheel. Heather I have been thinking about what you're going through all week... Especially "Mr. Yellowstone". It's good that you figured out that he's an avoidant and that he wasn't ready for a relationship (ended up back with his old girlfriend.) So typical. I dated men like that in the past. So I have been watching lectures about how to attract a masculine man (like my husband is). They say a woman has to not tolerate inconsistent behavior from a man. You are a beautiful confident woman and guys should respect you for that. Also your intuition is always right. Don't ignore red flags about a man like I did. Men are master manipulators. Guard your heart. I know how easy it is to let your emotions surpress your decision making. Just wanted to share that with you.

Hi. I like your videos when it was more just fashion and a little bit of dating information at the end. I know you don't mean bad by giving these advises but everybody is different and feel differently about dating. The biggest one I do agree with is to not sleep with someone right away. When you do that I feel like most of them will think you are easy and nothing special anymore. If they really like and think you are worth it, they will wait.
