@@quadmovr when it is far away. do you fly from knowning the rates and knowing where the drone is and where it is hedding, or can you see the orientation of the drone and see it rotating. I.e are you kinda flying blind at when it is far away?

i think its always a combination of knowing (the attitude etc) and the visual. the further you go, the more the ratio goes towards the knowing but visual is never zero.

there are none. only prop for going very high speed is apc or custom made ones.

Apc bi blade props are the fastest. The fastest HQ prop is the BMS 5.1x4.3x3. It gets my racer up to 230 kph. It's faster than all the gemfan I tested. HQ has a 5.1x4.5 bi blade. Not bad from my testing, but far from apc performance

I cant reach more than 260 kmh with my ultimate 5 inch racing quads even on 8S and APC 5.2x6 props. It seems beyond that speed , it's all about a perfect aerodynamic shape. The air resistance increases so bad

​@2_hottieScotty I have an stp armor 5 inch frame with tmotor F60 V LV 1950kv motors with ethix s5 props and I've got it to 105mph with a go pro 7 and a cnhl 1500mah 6s battery. Now I have a GPS on it so I don't need the go pro to tell me how fast I'm going. I wanna make another speed run now with a smaller battery.

Yes that's true, it's all about aerodynamics. I hit 305km/h with 6S and the same props you used. With some more improvements, 350km/h should have been possible but I stopped the project.
