Tony khan is not a boss. He’s a fan with a billionaire dad. The reason everyone acts out is because he has no idea how to manage people. Storylines are almost nonexistent. The quality of matches are the best thing aew has going for it. Even still there is often no structure, no rhyme or reason for doing specific moves, just trying to look cool and pop the crowd. It’s amazing how far this company has regressed from the fresh, awesome product it was only a few years ago in just it’s short amount of time in existence

I say that depends on who you are. Let's face it. Some of these people are never gonna be the next John Cena, Steve Austin or Undertaker, etc. If you're in this spot and especially if your remaining shelf life is limited as it, then yeah, take the money. But some of these people have the potential to be superstars and this guy is wasting their time a youth. He's not even using them. At the very least, use em to get someone over that wants to stay. Miro IMO had the best TNT championship run. The fact that Kylie Rae is the ONLY person TK has granted a release to, this is why I think the allegations against Jericho are true. Malakai, Miro, Starks, etc. have all asked for their release and were denied. AEW has a stacked roster, TK could let people go without it hurting AEW

Miro had Main Event potential during his run in AEW before his disappearance. What's a shame is that AEW has some names in their roster that can help raise the company's popularity. They're just not used right. They kill storylines that have potential. Ok, there's more wrestling. Kool. But it also needs proper storytelling and consistent character development in order to both keep the regular audience watching it, and bringing in a new audience. If they're able to PROPERLY develop characters and storytelling, and even sometimes surprise us with some wins in matches (ex: we all knew Hobbs was gonna lose to Moxley...but I feel this matchup should've developed to a PPV match, hype up Hobbs to be that guy to beat 'em, and take the title) -- then they may have something. They definitely have the roster for something...they just need to use the roster right

Wardlow is the perfect example of Tony's biggest booking pitfall, he knows how to book the chase for something, but he has no damn idea how what to do after they get it. In this case, Wardlow got his dominant victory over MJF, and his TNT title, but afterwards he just sorta faded into irrelevance. Like what the hell is he doing wasting his first feud post MJF with Mark Goddamn Sterling and "20 security guards?"

My feeling towards Kamille is very interesting. A part of me feels bad for her cause if signed with WWE and most probably on NXT instead of going to AEW, she would be either ready for the main roster or be on a top position in NXT's Women's Division by now. But instead, she's gonna either sit out her contract and have to wait till it reaches to its end or AEW brings her back but doesn't do anything significant as in becomes a jobber. Even if she joins WWE/NXT after her contract is finished, she have to do things from the start there so she definitely lost some serious time. Depends on the company and contract, no matter what contact though there's always a way for someone to leave, you can't force someone to work for you just cause you signed a paper. I'm a former indie pro wrestler and we are considered independent contract workers plus one does have to be careful on the contract you signed and always read everything plus it is best to have a negotiator or agent to do everything for you some companies are able to buy your contract which is legal especially if talent no longer wants to be apart of the company they are in this is why former talent and active wants a union it's a lot of political BS in the industry and very cutthroat especially if you are working for a fanboy owner but don't worry Aew will go under because of Tks ignorance all fanboy promotions do

If people try and force their way out of a company, either by refusing creative (Starks etc) or by speaking to another company whilst still under contract (Fenix) it would be a terrible business decision to let them out of their contracts. If you did, you would be telling the whole roster that if you want to leave, just be unprofessional, and you will be released. It blows my mind how many people dont know that. I get that this is a competetiv market. Everyone knows (especially in AEW) that WWE just is the place now to be. So, in a way I understand Tony not wanting to release someone, fearing they'll jump ship there immediately and not wanting to "give them stars who rebuild themselfs in AEW". We've basically seen this with Penta now, big on AEW, now even bigger in WWE. And don't get me wrong, WWE has people sitting at home too and not being used for various reasons, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance come to mind to me immediately. Remember how they won the Women's Tag Titles very early on after their Main Roster debut, if not their debut there? Haven't seen them in a while now. I could bet that Tony is simply afraid that people want to join WWE instead of AEW, which is understandable. I can imagine many of them wanting to get there, even Mercedes said she eventually wants to go back there, but have you heard of anyone from WWE really wanting to AEW? That's because WWE is at the top and you want to stay there if you can. There is a spot above AEW to work towards when you are there (WWE). And Tony probably is also just not using them out of spite, let's be real here.
