Would love to keep Big Z and Lindy if we could, but I know the Nucks are having money troubles after the Hronek signing... ideally keeping this team together would be amazing, but push comes to shove, I would take Zaddy just because we need a big blueline more than centres. Zads, Soucy, and Myers were huge together (literally) and keeping them together would boost this team moving into next season.

Though I am a hurricanes fan and sad about guentzel, necas, and skjei. I really hope we could find replacements like superstar or solid players such as Patrick Laine, Sam Bennett, Patrick Kane, and Brandon Montour. Maybe we could get stamkos, but it won’t be easy

Reinhart is a good player, but I would put him in the same boat as Huberdeau under the Barkov effect. If Reinhart was on Calgary this year he doesn’t have that many goals or points. I would be afraid to overpay for Reinhart long term

2:54 Kane is very good but 20 goals and 27 assists for a 47 point season isn't massive or elite, it is good for a 2nd line player. I'm a Kings fan and Anze Kopitar has 26 goals and 44 assists this season. Kopi is a year older at 36 over Kane who is 35. Anze would get a good $5-$6 for the next 2 years of his career, Kane is probably looking at $4 per year for the next 3 years and no one really expects career numbers after 37+.
