YO MURPH! You know those boys in Seattle all acting like they got something to prove. They talk crap about DK and you know he's about to dominate the league and my man Bobo is showing everybody that he deserves more reps than he got last year. They need to work him in the slot. He could be the Hawks version of Cooper Kupp taking those short crossers and getting some yac. He's coming out hard this year, just watch. I'm excited to see what they can do this year. You can bet that they will be tough matchup no matter who they play!

Nah, Bobo is an outside WR. I'm sure he'd be fine in the slot, but his catch radius and route running lends itself to be best utilized on the outside. JSN is the slot machine. They need to eventually get Bobo where.

I know every year there’s the training camp hype and we look at everything and think we got the next best thing but I’ve heard Riq and DK been battling hard with each other and it’s seemed to be really help each others game. The cliche iron sharpens iron. Riq is looking better than his last year self being fully healthy and DK seems to have been doing better with his hands. Damn when football start!! Also imma go Bobo still, that catch is as even more nasty then that DK one. Both great though 😤

I am liking everything i am reading and watching about the seahawks so far this offseason. Team seems extra motivated and locked in with all the new systems on offense and defense. Macdonald seems cool and calculated. Geno already cookin up those preorders at Grubb at Geno's!! Abe Lucas health still big concern though. Hopefully gets that knee figured out. But even if we get this defense from 30th to middle of pack i can see 9 to 11 wins easy.

Competition is key. It make you great. It why I transferred from my college this year we never had competition days we rarely did 1on1s I can count on one hand how many times we did 1on1s I can also count on one hand how many times the starting offense went against the starters on defense. Some coaches dot. Understand that the urge to be better than the man standing next to you even if that’s your brother is to be used to their advantage and isn’t a detriment. I’ve had a teacher in the past that having a rival is bad in terms of competitive settings when that’s far from the truth as long as that rivalry doesn’t go to far into becoming hatred or beef

Metcalf hand eye is great as in the teardrops over shoulder catch. His hands are not soft. He does a lot of basket catching-which is necessary when he's about to take contact. But his hands are not soft.

Not always necessary when you are about to take contact. Michael Irvin was the master of strong hands against contact... Metcalf has had great moments with the over the shoulder, and some poor, but that's not the only act of hand-eye-coordination. Outside the frame catches he's inconsistent with it.

There was a vivid one two seasons ago where he flat dropped it in the back of the endzone and all the fans were mad at Geno because of his stats in that game, but he should've had that TD. I forget the exact game but I made a video on it back then. Once they get it down, it's a wrap for defenses, as you suggested.

DK has the gifts and athleticism to be as good as anyone who has ever played the position. If he had a bit more discipline on his routes and got coached up he’s a superweapon, he’s already a great WR. Hope he tears it up this season

One of, for sure... Having Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Odell Beckham on 1 team is pretty crazy. Jets with Mike Williams, Garrett Wilson & Malachi Corley, etc. is nasty as well as AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, John Ross, Parris Campbell, etc. for the Eagles. Lions, Rams, Ravens... Seattle definitely has a great chance, no doubt.

Lol no he's not. Completely different receivers. Baldwin was elite side to side quickness and releases off the line. He taught Lockett how to release off the line. Doug didn't have elite top end soeed, 4.5 or 4.6 I believe. Megatron and DK almost identical physical measurables. Johnson had the better hands

I'm not impressed with DK at all. His second season was good but that's it. Physically he probably looks the best in the league and is the fastest at his size but has underachieved. Imo AJ Brown is having the career that DK should have and DK was the star at Ole Miss.

AJ Brown was the #1 at Ole Miss, not DK.. Also their careers are pretty close. AJ has 22 more catches and about 400 more total yards, and DK has 43 TDs to Browns 42

@ChrisSears - Technically they both have 43 as AJ has a rushing TD, too. Lol. As for Brown vs Metcalf. Brown got that. There is literally nothing Metcalf is better at. He's faster, but not necessarily football faster as AJ is a monster in the vert game, and his hands are tremendous along with precise route running and nobody is messing with him on 50/50 balls. Metcalf is very good, too, though, but not AJ Brown good, at least as of now.
