Jaguar F Type V6 S The AJ126 is one best sounding stock 6 cylinder engines and exhaust notes for a production car, ‘that’s why had to get one’ ..like the Alfa it has 2 cylinders less than the v8 block yet still keeps the mental supercharger! ..see the TG clip with Jezza! ;)

Too bad you didn't add the Datsun (or nissan if it matters) but they had a nice inline 6 and when you add 3-2bbl Weber carbs you had one real fast car that handled great. I owned a few of them and my car ate those sopped up those 911's like they stood still...

You forgot the the king, the boss, the God of al V6s. The alfa romeo BUSSO V6(a.k.a Busso’s violin). Makes the most beautifull sound ever to come out of a car. Haven't watched this vid, but I'll bet 10 to 1 that one of the best vehicles to be offered with one of the best v6 motors ever created isn't included, and that is the 1970-72 Kaiser Cj5 Renegade I Jeep that came with the Dauntless v6 (Buick manufactured the motor)....I'm a GM hating FORD man, but I'll admit, that Dauntless is a savage little motor.....

Patient zero of that VR6 in a hatch wasn't the R32 though. it's Golf MkIII vr6 with 174 bhp [even the VW corrado counts in this case, since it was earlier and technically also a hatch] - Golf Mk 4 Vr6 GTi with 204 bhp - Golf mk 4 R32 with 240/241 bhp and THEN the one you showed and described: the Golf Mk 5 R32 with 250 bhp. So looking at it, it's been hot on the WRX-sti/evo heels for quite some time now...but than again, I reckon you only started to get it with the Mk V R32 in the US, right?
