Ragdoll dynamics is a payed addon. You can download the addon for free, but you will need ragdoll core, which offers a 30day trial, but after that you wont be able to bake your simulations. And the licence costs 199 for commercial projects, and 99 for non commercials.

yup ragdolling with rb sim isnt too trivial though, iv seeen a few tuts showing how to achieve this. but an addon to remove complexity is nice for heavier armatures

GScatter is the best free add-on! (And it always had been since its release in 2022. Only their really old particle system based addon Graswald Pro was paid, but that was more for the 40 or so high quality assets that came with it. Now they even made their entire Asset catalog free to use is simply amazing! Hundreds of high-quality plants, which you can't find anywhere else for free!

It's great to see Graswald featured here! I was part of the production team and created most of the procedural presets for them. Unfortunately, they have since stopped working on it and moved on to other projects.

​@@blendereverything Indeed, I worked in their small office, but most of the 3D artists were international. On-site, we were about 10 people. If they had more funding, they would probably still be working on Graswald assets.

Eh, the auto UV one seems to use a variant of the cube projection to do their unwrap

You lost me at "Blender has one of the best cloth simulation systems in the industry". I fuckin wish, Blender cloth is the most buggy bullshit I've experienced. It took me 2 hours to get a non glitchy flag blowing in the wind. You need Houdini or marvelous designer for any legit cloth sim that isn't a flag with wind, don't get me started on animating cloth interacting with other objects as well as itself, 90% of the time is just phases through itself even with a bunch of optimization and refining

they stopped updating it, but you still have access to the assets from grasswald, there alot of other adddons that can do the same thing gscatter does

​ @davidcapuzzo ​ @blendereverything They will only update it for LTS (long term support versions of Blender) Currently that is Blender 3.6, the last update for 4.0 was also just a bit over a month ago. They also confirmed to release an update for the next LTS version which is 4.2 and only now being worked on and slated to be released end of July. You shouldn't use 4.0 especially not 4.1 since the rendering issues and other regressions.
