I've had binocular double vision for 2 years, doctors said it can't be fixed. Glasses the only solution apparently. Gets much worse in the winter time, which I've never understood, I suspect it's because of lower light making eyes more tired.

Doctor I have had this illness over 5 years I am 18 currently and I have binocular diplopia it worsens especially at night. 5 years ago I had Double vision between 80-100metres now it has reached 2-3 metres.I am so disappointed and frustrated with this illness. @@molkisha thanks for responding 🙏. My double vision was due only to high myopia with too much difference in correction powers. I had cataract surgery done in both eyes to eliminate this difference. Being 57 this was easier. This problem was totally gone immediately after. One can try contact lenses of correct powers for each eye separately instead of glasses. This was my exoerience but doc knows better. Wishing you well 🙏

Been freaking out over this. Been Having double vision in one eye since yesterday. It's better today but still there. My new job is online so I'm constantly looking at a screen and also haven't been getting hardly any sleep. Both eyes are red and sore. @@molkisha well. His explanation was that it makes the ‘tearfilm’ blurry. And I do notice a difference after cleaning but so far the double vision stays. The tear film stabilizes the corneal surface. And if this gets disturbed all kinds of weird artifacts can sometimes be seen.

Binocular double vision in the distance for the last week, gets better with rest but only for a bit, or if I move my eyes with my fingers. Eyes look good, CT scan clear. Suspecting Myasthenia Gravis, awaiting more results, MRI and bloodwork.

I had double vision for like 7 months it turned out I have myasthenia graves. It’s an autoimmune disease that affects the muscles making them weak. If you are having double vision you may want to see a neurologist and get tested for myasthenia graves

I also have this, it's called bilateral monocular diplopia or ghosting vision, I see like an aurora of the object I'm looking at, I see everything like that, but it's more noticeable at night with the moon separating further, the image is frustrating and I've had suicidal thoughts. I don't want this. The truth is, but we have to find a solution. Today I woke up better, it went away but I'm sure it will come back at any moment, and as you continue, you found a cure. Mines in my right eye. It feels kind of sore when I look up without moving my head. At the same time I'm looking up, I see double but not when my eyes are level or looking down.
