Very cool unit I think it would be great for mechanical type setting where you could show the customer the print out also topdon makes a great battery pack jumper I have Topdon Volcano 2000 it has jumped my 6.7 power stroke it’s a good unit

A very well done video, Good to know if what to look for when a unit glitches as yours did, Yes -Please do a follow up video on how you were able to get the issue resolved on and or if your tester was indeed faulty - how did customer service handle the situation.

We had a KZbin short where we overviews the solution to the problem. It was a faulty device but the company was very quick about sending us a new one and then we were good to go!

Just a tip for future don’t try ripping the printout down. Rip it up against the teeth (I learned the hard way on a new A/C machine 20 years ago) but nice video.

Thanks for this video. When doing the charging test some other testers ask you to turn on lights high lights, fan blower set to max and fog lights if you have them. Also, what's the difference between this tester and then Topdon 101 and Topdon 100? Just the printer? Or perhaps this one is more precise? I notice this one has very long cables which mean you can do the test alone. I wonder if the price is worth it against the cheaper 100 and 101 models. Thanks again for your time

Hello Carlos, The Topdon BT testers are better quality the the AB models with copper cables, and better build quality. The Topdon BT100 is a basic battery tester. The BT200 is an improvement in that it will test both 12v and 24v, it has more clear diagnostics, a bigger screen and longer cables. The BT300 is pretty much the same as the BT200 but it has the thermal printer. So there is one to fit just about anyone's needs.

It was a defect in the product and they sent us another. They said if your product has to Quality Inspection stickers on the back then your unit will be fine. We made a short on the product showing it works.
