I got one and will probably keep it. It has already spotted water damage and an overheating socket.

Anybody know how to turn off FFC in the PC app? I see the switch in the phone app, but not in the PC app. Apparently the only switch in the PC app causes it to happen in addition to the timed happenings. Thanks.

I couldn't get the PC version to work for me. Does work well on a tablet though, giving you a bigger view of things.

Screen tearing on Galaxy Tab A8 (fresh install of Android 14). Works fine on my Galaxy S10e. If I downgrade the "TC View" software APK version, the screen freezes after startup, so that's useless.

I used it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and it burned an image on my camera, maybe because the tablets have more power? Anyway I was able to recalibrate the camera using the app and eliminated the ghost image...

Home inspectors claim thermal imaging can show cold spots on walls that are irregular shaped that will indicate moisture behind walls due to temp change as it can also detect hot and cold pipes.

I got the same camera and when It's connected to the phone it is constantly making some tiny clicky sounds (every 5 to 10 seconds) and image freezes for 0.5 second. I can hear on video your camera is doing the same. Is it supposed to be that way?

I have the same question. I guess so. Also when you record the image there a 2-3 or more second lag between the video and audio tracks. Seems like its in need of a firmware update...

This is normal for thermal cameras in my experience. I have an expensive Leupold HD and had a seek handheld, they all click, I believe its the thermal imager refreshing or calibrating. And they both freeze up for a split second too until it warms up.

That is the camera calibration. I use a fluke ti95 and it does the same thing. Every 15 seconds or so it clicks, the camera "freezes" and then resumes

A lot of apps can just crash. I'm trying to do too much in this case I would just use a separate app, screen recorder and then you don't have to give any permissions to TopDon.

So, the audio isn't great on video recordings. This is certainly a deal breaker for me

The audio is definately a disappointment but the quality of the image for the price is the best I've found so far.
