Have the newer model , installed the first part of 2025. Very easy to install, two gate system. Got an extra fob to use from the house when company shows up. Highly recommend this unit!!

If when you say “100 working hours” for those batteries, if they’re each 100 amp hours, those are likely hugely oversized for that 50w gate opener. At least it’s listed at 50w. So if the gate opens 10 times a day, you might be using 10 watts since it’s only operating for about 30 seconds to a minute at a time. You’ve got about 2,400 watts of batteries there. You also have to consider the charging, that little 20watt solar panel will have a really difficult time actually bringing batteries that large to full charge and give them the absorption they need.
