I think a good part of my being a PC Technician for 21 years before Covid-19 and retirement was I could always relate to John Walton when it came to putting in a hard days work for a days pay.

This is sad to know who all has passed but thank you for putting this video together. There is one correction needed. The actress Nora Marlowe played the role of ‘Aunt Rose’, not Flossie Brimmer. Mrs. Brimmer owned and ran the boarding house.

I have always loved the Waltons even before I went into the Army. The Waltons represents the importance of the values that endeared them to audiences across the country and even around the world. This is why the Walton s deserve to be among the classics. I am proud to think that the Walton s lasted for nine years, and that was well done. Those who have passed away,, may they rest in peace.

If Grandma and Grandpa Walton were still alive they were the head of the Walton’s family, and only passed down to John and Olivia when they both had died…

This would actually be a mighty fine video if it weren't for that ghastly robot commentator. And is there ever a comment about an actor or actress that doesn't include the phrase "While honing their skills, they perfected their art in......(whatever performing venue or film)?

So sad that most of them are gone.

Yes it is. I was 14 in 72 when the first season premiered. The show always focused on family values and helping their neighbors. I was saddened when Will Geer passed away. Grandpa was the greatest.

so sad John ritter was a favorite as well as Ralph Waite as well as Grandma Walton and so many of the others. 😢

Ralph Waite is the only actor I know getting episodes dedicated to his passing. Both Bones and NCIS had the tributes.

I think you need to give the robot reading this a big tune up. It mispronounced names of the cast referred to and even butchered some common words. As for the writing, facts were repeated and such laziness of calling a guest actress, Beulah Bondi, an “integral” part of the cast when she only appeared in two episodes early in the series’ run. Then there’s all the cast that were left out-cast that were far more integral to the show than a guest actor or an actor who was in one season. Such as Joe Conley who played ‘Ike Godsey’ for the entire series, Ronnie Claire Edwards, who joined the show early in the series’ run and became the lovable ‘Corabeth Godsey’ or Helen Klein, who played Mary Jackson’s character’s sister, ‘Mamie Baldwin.’ You pay respect to Mary Jackson and leave out her constant scene partner Helen Kleeb? Or Peggy Rea, who played ‘Aunt Rose’ for the last two seasons? So many actors who were in far more episodes than Ms. Bondi or John Ritter and you ignore them? Talk about lack of respect for the deceased!

I can't help but wonder how many people would've stopped watching the Waltons back then if they'd known that actor Will Geer - GRANDPA of all people - was a homosexual in a years-long relationship with another man.

He was actually bisexual cuz he was married to a woman before he was with a man and he was also a registered communist.

Family can be your worst enemy. Child influences can cause mental trauma which can carry over into adulthood. It's not good to live in an emotional shell and be denied of living life. The waltons tried to show families how to face problems' work through them together as a family.
