For lap records to be truly meaningful, they would have to be performed by the same driver every time. This is why Top Gear lap times were special. Except for the bloody rain, which made an appearance far too often. See what I mean. :-) Same driver, same weather, same temperature, same track, same tires, same fuel. Impossible. That's why we are satisfied with what we get. 😅 I would take all of these cars.

Right off the bat this is wrong, The SSC Tuatara never hit 316mph. It's Been proven the instruments were completely wrong, The never even hit 290mph..

These are technological wonder & stunning too, with the exception of Bugatti. Significantly uglier than the Audi super car. A V-16, why not put a high-speed train motor in it.
