I found an old crt tv and then i cut that and presently am using the front display as a white board...it was an old crt tv...like 15-18 years old...glad that i used the glass screen like that since 5 years

Hello @Mark , your video was an isnpiration for a proyect, I was looking for a regular board, but glass whiteboard gave me the idea of recycling old pieces of glass to hang them to my white wall and use them as such. Thank you very much, best regards.

Hi. The costs of glass whiteboard in my country in Amazon seems pretty expensive. Can I just use frosted tempered glass? Or is this some different type of glass?

It's be really nice to find one I could install a map behind the glass. I have laminated maps I've used in the past, but it's a PITA to remove the marker after a while

I got a magnatic glass board 36X48 for $40 from a office being closed, looks brand new. Installation was easy. Problem is that I got new markers for glass board and I notice it's not easy to clean as my regular white board. I have to apply pressure on the writing to clean it. Is it normal? Same issue even if I try to clean it right after writing something. Any tip will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

what about the glare/light reflection of the surface. It seems from min. 5.00 to be hard to read due to increased light reflection. I think this is the main down side?

Wish you would have shown what it looks like when you write on and erase the board as theres not many videos about glass white boards. And erase when fresh/wet and with old/dry writing.

You are right, that would have been good. It's fairly similar to a standard white board in that old markings will have a harder time erasing. The thing that's great though is that you can just use windex to get rid of it and there's no ghosting left behind

Bought, almost installed by when we tried the magnetic letters I bought for the kids (and that stuck well to our cheap board,) they just fell off. The glass is too thick or the magnet not strong enough! Not sure what to get- it was pretty. Any thoughts for pretty board with great magnetic power, doesn't ghost and doesn't warp?

Glass is the best surface to prevent ghosting. The only magnets that will work with glass white boards are neodymium (aka rare earth) magnets unfortunately. Another option you could try is a magnetic porcelain board

Hey man Idk if you can answer this. But i bought a pen glass white board it's supposedly magnetic and none of my magnetic markets is sticking. The only magnets that are sticking are the ones that came with it. Is it too thick or did I put it on backwards?? This is the first thing I've ever installed by myself. Hope you can help ty!

Glass magnetic white boards can only be used with neodymium magnets, standard magnets aren't strong enough.

They are quality boards and are cheaper than the ones from the better known Quartet brand. Superior to Quartet in my opinion too.

It has a channel in the aluminum and you just push it on to the glass. It's very solid.
