This rosemary tutorial is one of the very best tutorials I’ve ever watched. I’m a rather experienced gardener, so learning actual new information makes me very happy. Also…!! I deeply appreciate you mentioning where you live. Knowing the plant zone and environment makes tremendous sense. It helps each of us better plan the care our own plants require for our own locations. Gotta try this for sure. Where'd you get the rosemary. Yours seem to already have mature stems. The ones available in Lowes and HomeDepot seem to be very tender

Does the trunk ever thicken?

Overtime it does. I find that as the top thickens the trunk compensates by getting larger. I suppose to make up for the growth that’s above it.
