My name is Isaac Crace. I was born and raised in Nampa Idaho and first hand have seen this valley go from cornfields and tractors to crowded sidewalks and suburbs. From growing up here in Nampa Idaho I know this valley like the back of my hand. Nampa Idaho & Idaho in general has shaped me into an avid outdoorsman with a great love for the outdoor life that the Idaho has to offer with the most public land in the world. I can always be found outside be it hunting and fishing or floating the river in the summer. To fuel my lifestyle I got in the family business making me a 3rd generation Realtor in the Nampa Idaho area. I was in nampa for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's of last year. I absolutely loved that place. Im from crappy, woke, cringe ridden Las Vegas and found the town and the people so amazing. Completely 180 from this dump. Can't wait to move there.

I bought my home in nampa in 2012. Paid 90 thousand, great deal. My mortgage is $560.00. There are apartments down the road from my house that are $1800.00 to $2000.00 a month.. I think i won in the great decision to buy or keep renting.

The "crummy" pavement is for all the free lanes. The good pavement is only used on all the toll lanes 😒

Only the Sugar Beet factory. Nampa is a nice town.

As always, this is a good video, Isaac. 👍👍👍 We weren't impressed with Nampa when we visited back in June. It's not a bad place and could be a really nice place for other folks, but just not for us. Does Idaho use good pavement when constructing roads? In California they use some kind of crummy pavement that starts cracking after a few years. That crummy pavement is probably used due to some kind of environmental law.

As far as I know the pavement is good quality but from experience it depends on the prep work more than anything that was put into it. If the base layer was rushed or a company didn't do a terrific job compacting you'll notice it right away. Some roads last decades without issues and some you'll notice issues right away

Nampa doesn't seem to be a bad place. It's a bit more commercial and industrial than we like. We like things a bit more country and a little more upscale. We also have a son who will be attending college in Boise, and we want to be closer to where he will be going to school for an easier commute. If you're working in Nampa, it may be the place for you; the commute would be a lot easier. @@OldJoeBlows

@@audiophileman7047 thanks for taking the time to reply. I’ve been looking at listings and thinking the same thing. I’m not currently in the worst of locations, albeit California. I can hear frogs and am close to the mountains enough I can take the curvy Cyn road to the freeway. I may have to bite the bullet and rent low for a couple of years to purchase the mountain/water views. I also still need to convince the young adult children that slowing down and getting out of California is the best thing for them. Thanks again.

The smell from the sugar plant smells a lot like peanuts to me. I don't find it to be bad, personally.
