If I had a lil extra $, I'd stop by those who were standing beside the road asking ppl for help with $, sometimes nobody wud help them. Then whenever I gave my 3 girls $ when they were little, they'd give it away to ppl who were asking for help, they continued helping ppl throughout their lives n still do, they're young adults now. I was a single working parent living from paycheck to paycheck without any child support. I know how hard it can be not having anything. We're Native American n had to travel about 300 miles to shop for food n things, I always felt bad when I didn't have extra $ to give. I love that my children have kind n giving hearts n souls.

I was just in line with my 2 beautiful baby girls and was getting prepared to check out. I had 2 $50 gift cards and one of them weren't working for some reason and I was holding up the line. I felt so embarrassed because I genuinely did not have an extra $60 bucks to pay for the rest of our groceries. The young woman behind us generously asked the cashier how much was left as I was calling trying to get my gift card to work and she payed for the rest of my groceries. I honestly never though something beautiful like that could ever happen to me bc I know so many don't help. She literally made me cry man it was the sweetest thing in the world to me and I want to give whenever I get in a better position again to be able to do what exactly was done to me and more! I don't have the funds to do things like this, you don't always need money.. sometimes coffee and conversation is enough to change someone's life.. Being homeless is very lonely.. 20yrs ago I was humbled greatly by a 2 hour conversation with a veteran and it changed my life.. He told me his life stories I told him mine, we laughed we cried, I ate dumpster food for the first time.. We were making plans to meet up later in the week and he said to me "you were the light at the end of a dark tunnel, I was going to kill myself today and I may still do it just not today" I cried the entire walk home. i bitched at my friend rhe whole way there because of how far of a walk it was..
