I've had to run away from homeless people harassing me before, and I tend to be skeptical a lot of times. Most of the time, even if they're on drugs, you could possibly help them at least a bit. My dad has taught me that even if someone is an addict, you should still give them a little bit of something because you never know if they would actually want to get some food.

I've made so many food deliveries and the people who live in small homes and medium size homes give the largest tips but the people who live in massive homes with very expensive vehicles give the smallest tips or even no tip at all, it's ridiculous how backwards it all is when you think about it. So true. Through certain circumstances I ended up homeless myself a few years back. I now have a nice home and a decent paying job. My friends don't understand when I give homeless people money. I get the old they'll just spend that on drugs or alcohol. Can't stereotype everyone that is homeless, some people just fall on hard times and spiral. I’m a mother of two, I remember a few years ago we saw a homeless man outside the dollar store, I didn’t have cash on me so I told him to come in the store with me and I would get him some food and stuff- he refused and said “thank you, I can’t go in the store- God bless you and your beautiful children.” Me and my children went in the store and they picked out snacks and drinks and toothbrush and even ice cream for him- (it was winter) we came out with 2 bags full for him, and he was so grateful he as in tears and brought me to tears- we spoke for a while and we saw him a few other times before we moved. being able to help someone, and doing so, is one of the most humane thing you can do- God bless you, everyone and tng- thank you for using your platform to spread this kindness and awareness

I always say that if you want to be as selfish as possible, be kind to everyone you meet! It will ALWAYS eventually pay you back! And it doesn't even have to be "big"... Do you know how many free rides I've gotten on public transit by simply chatting with the driver for a few moments after getting on and then saying "Have a good day" when I hop off? One starts with nothing and works their way up. Those who reach what we call High class, arrived there due to much Sacrifice and work. Not all but I'm guessing most had to spend many hours away from family and friends to achieve their financial wealth so it is understandable for one to be tight about money since it can also be lost. That being said if you feel inclined you can still buy people something to eat when they ask for money but most of the time they just want money for drugs so you also have to see it from that perspective. still I understand why people would be upset with this man saying no while having an expensive car but also one must remember he doesn't have to give him anything. When you open the door for someone, hand something that someone dropped, sneaking in line, etc, they don't give a damn, they think you are there for them. There's a phrase that people use here when you knew someone and got rich: they look at you from the side, means like if they look at you from above but with a feeling of knowing you from somewhere. Normally here people quickly forget where they came from. Rich people that were born rich is different, is like if they do it because of ignorance, their parents never taught them there is another kind of life, much harder and complicated. Still I don't mind at all. You just have to give and life will give back to you soon or later. I'm just a couple of years away from financial freedom but I remember very good the people that has been in the "same suit of cards as me".

Also, I think Opto and AJ asked for money to homeless people on purpose so that they'll give money to them whether they would give them or not, which is a good move. BTW, I was like that too, back then when someone asks me to give them money. I don't have any of it that much BUT I DIDN'T FEEL HESITATED TO GIVE so instead, I gave them my food (lunchbox for my school since I got spare money to buy foods), and I am proud of myself for doing it. Here is the reality for some of us these days!!!. A lot of us in this age of technology hardly ever or never carry cash on us, though in our hearts we would want to give and do help others at any opportunity we get. So asking for food in peoples shopping carts, paying for something someone needed at the cash register in the shop or paying for gas one may need with a card are better options for us to help anyone in need. It's always a blessing to both givers and those who receive. Hope you will try more of these options & you will notice a lot more people would want to help. Homeless and older folks been through hard times at some point in their lives so they know what struggle is. Remain blessed for saying that. It really reminds me when I lost everything I had. I even lack money to afford water . Friends , business colleagues families all left me. I almost commit suicide but God said No my son it's just a step to a better level and a lesson to remind you about people's attitude when it seems the end of your life ( broke ) hey, i used to help people so much that I even sent my older brother to abroad ( China) And he made it but turned his back on Me. Life taught me a biggest lesson . In conclusion God never fails .
