TOPO AURA: Why frame it this way?

Another comprehensive review, Matt. This is a big year for Topo: Aura, Cyclone 3, Phantom 4, not to mention their trail releases. I haven't heard about an Atmos 2 though. The OG Atmos has been out since Nov 2023.

Matt, great intro for the Aura. I just placed my order for this shoe, I have been a big fan of Topo for the past few years. Build quality is great, customer service is great, and the wider tow-box is a winner. Love the extra room up front but the mid-foot and heel lock down. Hoping this is another winner for Topo.

I've been very pleased with the Aura! I think I mentioned it the video, but I love the feel of the midsole in this (as opposed to some other Topo shoes)!

The difference in drop is a big deciding factor but also the toebox space.

You're right! The toe box space is a biggie. Once you go wide, it's hard to go bcak to a narrow fit.

Great review matt!I've just added the saucony tempus to my rotation I was looking at the atmos but maybe when they go on discount I may pick up a pair my local running store have a lot in stock😊

The Tempus is a really great shoe! I didn't run in the Tempus 2, but I put a lot of miles in the original!

Thanks for the review Matt, how does this compare to the Altra fwd via for someone looking for a 1st anatomical shoe with 4/5mm drop. Have many traditional shoes in all brands but a foot issue I need to protect for a little while whilst it heals. Plantar plate strain 😢 which has led to plantar fasciitis 😢

Dear Matt,TOPO Brand seems to be technically more polished than Asics,I'm impressed again as usual,but one question comes to my mind?What quality don't you have except your everyday magnificence and whispering some secrets 😉😉😉,about the shoes?👏👏👏

@@justalain5124 Topo brings a lot to the table especially compared to bigger brands like ASICS who tend to over-engineer this type of shoe. As far as your question, it’s impossible for me to answer! 😂
