I use a USB power bank and it's CLEAN with zero noise. Did you mention how you're feeding the DAC's with music? Over USB, Optical or Coax? If over USB then you can bump up the quality well above 44.1. Mine is 384 on my E30 version 1.

Hi Dan, another great video! My ears aren’t very golden (I’m no audiophile) and I was only able to listen on my Bluetooth (AirPods Pro2) headphones ,but I definitely thought the e30ii seemed less laid back more forward and a bit louder. Still enjoyable though and really not that much different from the original. However, that could entirely be down to both KZbin and Bluetooth compression. Personally, I really like my chord mojo2. I wish I could let you try it, but I’m on the other side of the world. Also, because I’m in the U.K it was much cheaper to buy (£350 on sale about $680 AUD) than it is elsewhere in the world, and that made it a much better proposition for me, than it would be for international customers. There’s actually many direct rivals to the mojo2 I would have to spend much more money (£200-400) to get here in the U.K that are a very similar price to the mojo2 internationally. Sorry for another question, but in your personal opinion, do you think a lower cost linear power supply would still be a sonic improvement over something like the ifi power2? All the very best!

Your assessment of the sound is spot on, the e30II is more forward and louder. I would love to get a Mojo 2 and will more than likely be my next dac.

Yeah I’m convince any linear power supply would be better than an IFi product
