Yes I was still watching lol. I live in a bungalow in a sheltered close. Everyone helps everyone else with 'stuff' so one neighbour vigourously brushed the roofs clear and another cleared the gutters. Over 2 weeks they did ALL the bungalows on the close. They do get 'treated' for it of course. :) I enjoy all your videos. :D

Ian may I suggest that a great tool to use when cleaning gutters is a toilet brush. It is of a size that runs though a gutter gathering everything.it is a extension to your arm witch means that you would not have to move the ladder so much, also when take a handful your hand is full.

Get a copper strip for the ridge, it kills the moss and prevents its growth, which, in turn stops the gutters clogging :)

Alan Siddall That’s the second person to recommend that, I will look into it. 🙂👍

@@FarmerP there are several different types available from ridge caps and ridge strips, to self adhesive sections that you stick on. It does work mind, lovely clean roof for years after installation :) and no more climbing up 3/4 times a year to clear the crap! Consider some gutter brushes too, keep the leaves out :) hope this helps

Yes still watching as always good content interesting to watch even the little things as well. Unfortunately ours is about 4 times a year as we have a really tall steep roof on the house. I tend to use roof ladders and a Wolf Garten 2in1 Gutter Cleaner Brush / Leaf Scoop Head Attachment with extendable handle, that way don’t have to move ladders so much.

Great little video Ian, while you were saying.." is anyone watching me clear the gutters" I was thinking that i wished we lived in a bungalow, their so easy to clean.... mine are 18 feet up and awkward and I'm no longer good up a ladder .... we did have a bloke come and vac the gutters, but he left half of them not done and broke off half a dozen gutter clips, then wouldn't sort it when we complained !!!

With moles I like to leave traps down three days even if a catch after a day. At breeding time I've often caught a second mole coming in to the territory. The one thing I like to do is to make a slight hump of soil under the trigger, I mainly use talpex traps but do similar with duffus traps like yours if the tunnel is large. I used to quite like duffus traps but a lot are Chinese ones with weak springs so switched to talpex, also the talpex can be stacked together so easy to carry and store.

That twin wall flue pipe on the end of your bungalow needs a extra length added to clear the eaves and help stop down draft. There must be someone round wooton doing lots of these wrong, as I have seen a few now and one was out and out dangerous ( carbon monoxide in the room)

Has Biskit got a new cushion in the tractor? Looks very comfy 😀 Was that blue car parked on your access road? Is it a bridleway (BOAT) or something with no opportunity for a "get orf my land" shout? We had a problem with leaves, etc in the gutters so I put mesh over them which stops the big bits getting in so it only gets cleaned out once every one or two years and it seems to be OK but we don't get much moss as you do. I've just had your message about updating the intro, well why not if you've got some "grab your attention long enough to keep you watching" clips, etc 😀😀😀
