Hi Khang, great topping videos. Aftwr watching all youe topping. Videos over the past 3 weeks. Last night i decided to give it a try. My god it was a nightmare. I was nervous which leads to unsteady hands. Splitting the stem down in the middle was not easy for me at all. I failed miserably. It was fun though I enjoyed it. You make it look so easy haha. I'll let you no when i complete my graft. Later Khang.

This is my second year growing. Last year I had golden cayenne, tobasco, and mix of habeneros.. planted too late in season but did ok. Except for the diseases and bug battles! This year I just got some fluorescents for indoor seedlings! So stoked

Best to dunk cut ends into h202 and water and leave them there for 20 minutes to saturate before the graft This helps to prevent gas embolisms where a bubble of air prevents capillary action in the stem

High my American friend Johan here from South Africa want to start farming with Hot Peppers 1.) I want to buy Habineros from a Nursery I saw 18 Habanero plants about 20 cm high 10 inches one already got 5 fruit on and other 12 got flowers at 20 cm high they look a bit bushy but not much and I want to know why they already come out so early and so small plant? 2.) Then must I prune the other 12 plants flowers in the middle so it can make a big plant? Or must I only plant them out in bigger 9-inch pots with new compost? 3.) Then it is close to winter end of April can I take them in the house after they give their fruit and trim them and keep them where they get sun in the afternoon on the west side. Or must I give them light? Greetings Johan South Africa

I am sorry, but what is the purpose to do that, I don’t understand?
@zadalekn5 жыл бұрын
They are two different pepper plants. The fruits they produce will now have traits of both pepper plants.
@coloradodirtbike59303 жыл бұрын
The purpose of grafting plants is to use a plant with a hardy structure, big root system, and desirable traits such as pest and disease resistance. You graft your plant that you like the fruit of to the stronger root base, giving you a plant thats stronger and can grow better quality and sizes fruits. You can also graft multiple plants (if they are all in the same family) such as 1 pepper plant can have 20 different types of pepper varieties on it.
