Sweating first 5 minutes, warming up, 'Class action.' Charles commanded respect by his presence, few word's and staring when annoyed 🤭. His taste in music; vandross, jones girls, skyy, barry white, brass construction, you bought in record (vinyl) stores, soon after. What a time, it was, I'll never forget. These woman (class action), their disco attire, lyrics and lead vocals, golden 😘. Fabulous era. And all the glitter 😄. Wonderful nostalgia ❤. .

The original version of ''Weekend'' by Phreek in 1978 although it was a good disco song was not commercially successful.Five years later (1983) Class Action did this great cover and charted high in US dance/disco charts(#9) and also in UK charts(#49).Both in Phreek's original version and Class Action's cover the same lead vocalist, Christine Wiltshire.

This isn't even the original. The original was by Phreek. Written by Leroy Burgess and James Calloway, produced by Leroy Burgess and Patrick Adams and with vocals from Christine Wiltshire who also sang the Class Action version.
