I’ve been a fan since seeing being entertained by those incredible stoppies, his personality and being an absolute warrior on track. Guarantee you they've already started working on one. Toprak knows. And I'm sure they're developing one for the 2027 homologation as well. This is one of the biggest car and bike manufacturers. If anyone can do it it's them. There's a 1000cc ride height device version for 2026 and a stripped down 850cc version for 2027. The new rules kinda puts all the manufacturers in the same boat for a while. Not relying on aero and tech as much. BMW definitely timed this entry.

Imagine Marquez or Stoner on 2004/2005 Honda and not average Gibernau and old washed Biaggi? Rossi won 2004 and 2005 with Yamaha against weak competition. Same with Toprak and BMW, he won against 39y old Bautista with +6kg weights on his bike and Bulaga, a guy who won only 92 points in 48 moto2 races.

Toprak needs a seat in Motogp in ‘26. In 2027 its new engine regulation! So even out the playing field somewhat. Otherwise I believe he will join a 3rd brand in SBK. At 30 he’d still be at his prime, a lot more years ahead, 5-6 years at least. Either way Motogp or SBK, Honda HrC should grab him early. Sign him on sometime in 2025. Honda go for him!

Sign Toprak in 2025, Honda can decide to let him race in SBK(still at his SBK prime so may win the 2026 championship)for a year before going into Motogp in 2027 when the new engine regulation kicks in. 850cc Or go in 2026 familiarise with the track calendar on the outgoing 1000 engine, losing out on the 2026 high championship potential in SBK.

Pedro acosta is a marvel, winning moto 3 championship at a very young age and then moto 2. He is one very fast racer. But he struggles in motoGP. Compare pedro and marc marquez in his first year of motoGP, marc even won the championship. This is sonething for toprak to consider. It is not as easy as he may think.

Id argue he isnt struggling at all. He is just on a sub par bike pushing it futher than the limit. Toprak would need to change his muscle stregth its different on gp bikes. But if bmw decided to go Gp & build buke 4 his stregths itd be way ezer. But w/o that he needs a factory team to build it around him

He’s a good rider for WSBK, but I don’t believe he’s good enough for MotoGP. His tryouts with Yamaha were not exceptional. I know, people will claim he need time to adjust, but in current MotoGP, there’s no room for that, you need to be on top of your game on your first year and your young age (like current Pedro Acosta). I have nothing against Toprak, but I just don’t think he’s good enough and young enough to be a new MotoGP rider. Sorry…
