I still think tennis elbow (with patch) and full ace tennis are better as a tennis game then top spin. Top spin is not bad at all but those two have better animations and gameplay. Just my opinion.

The ball speed in Tennis Elbow is much faster and better. In TopSpin it's too slow and you need perfect shot for everything to look "better"..

There are videos where the ball speed is pretty high and it's not fast forwarded, it's just a matter of timing. I'd even say it's too fast at times

@@krishnakumar2390 A tennis ball reaches higher speeds than a Badminton shuttlecock. A badminton court is smaller than a tennis one but tennis isn't slow, it depends on the player's power. Alcaraz or Roddick when he played hit pretty hard

@@omairkazi3994 its based mostly on timing and choose the correct type of shot. TE is based on movement and positioning. TE without mods is ugly. I like both TE and top spin 4, so for me is great that top spin is back. Looking gameplay, it seems promising, similar to ts4 which is a good new, the gameplays we are watching are from people who play a bit bad.

This comparison is nice but is done incorrectly. The motion capture is done at Roland Garros 2019, where Federer serve is motion captured (not much knee bend as peak Fed in 2019). Other strokes as well since he changed a bit on forehand and backhands after 2016

They've done motion capture for his signature forehand, backhand and serve, other animations are the standard Top Spin that all players share. Each player has their own animations for the main shots though, but they were made by semi pro tennis players trying to imitate their moves. They should use an AI learning system similar to EA Sports FC in the future though

They should calculate averages, and avoid freezing the player while the ball didn't reach contact point, it wouldn't be hard to do that, the problem is to animate this slower moviment to get to the contact point. As the ball physics is not realistic, there are other things to fix to make it look believable. The ball on the original point travels much faster, so there's more thing breaking the illusion.

what a crap!! completely unrealistic game..2k why don't you hire me as this game consultant before finish this shit? You can capture players motion but it's the only final touch of the stroke. There is a complete preparation for a stroke.. run, split step, preparation..hit.. and than there are the physics.. ball physics like bouncing, ball effects like topspin, underspin, sidespin.. player physics like inertia, elasticity, power and physical conditions, etc.. You don't see nothing like this.. Furthermore, Is there first serve in this game ? Serves are ridiculous slow!! Ben Shelton will be disapointed on playing this.. well, at least I found a player.. this one and more 7 to play in a grand slam, this is what we have.. Fortunately, it starts at quarter-finals ... bah.. another decade of wait..
