These videos are awesome. The one-handed backhand is my favorite tennis groundstroke. I’ve adopted Ryan Reidy’s suggestions and they have worked for me. Keep it comming.

wow, always loved watching tennis but never understanding the trade secrets. This exposes them wonderfully. This should help an amateur like me to have decent rallies in no time. Thankyou and will definitely invest in topspin pro training aid

Great Video, Just curious, I see most pro finishing with racket head point upwards not at the left or right of the hand. Again thanks, can you do a video on high forehand, chest to shoulder level forehand drive?
@TopspinPro4 жыл бұрын
Hi Tunde - I see some pro's finishing the the racket head vertical but most to the right actually. They use much more acceleration so the racket head gets flung out. Ryan is trying to help recreational players and so to reduce risk and given recreational players aren't on court 3-4 hours a day practising he recommends a less risky method. I will ask him about high forehand videos. Phil

If you are lower to the ground and stepping in sideways on your backhand, you won’t need to throw back your non dominant hand that fair. Your front leg that u stepped into the shot will balance u out.

It's easier to use a western backhand grip when you're first learning the one hander.

I think the teaching is good. However, I think the video's are a little too long. I wish they were shorter with less commentary and not so much repetitive comments. I tend to interest when its too long.
