I don't think anyone would say this is 'classical' music by any stretch----it actually would be interesting to see that kind of a meld with pop music, but this wasn't it.

Simon was correct! The concept is intriguing, but the execution is where it fails. Sorry, no. But to each their own!

Well now.... Not up to great standards. Kind of cheesy. But the customer is always right. The audience liked it. Who knew?

I normally agree with Simon's criticisms, but here I feel he was quite rude to buzz them right after he sang the first line. That said, the soloist had got a strong singing voice, but his notes are sometimes off key, so I think they should have gotten a more polished soloist, or a male-female duet. This was 2010, so what happened to The Arrangement and the soloist? I didn't find anything from a web search.

He has decent control, but initially he sounded further off-pitch, and without emotion in his voice. I think honestly it was just not the best choice of songs for his vocal range, but the idea was okay. The semi-final was better, but still a bit over-serious instead of seeming to have fun with it. A bit too restrained in many parts.

😢🎉I was disappointed to say the least. I pray they do not give up. I had the same reaction as Simon. I think he should have given them the benefit of the dought. I would have still told them to go practice and come back and see me next year. My child plays the cello. So I listened to the end. 😢 They need more practice and maybe a different singer. I do not sing much better than him but I would love the chance to audition. I do not have finances to come and sing for you. Keep practicing; You have the potential and youth on Your Side. 🎉❤
