Incredible performance. What voices! On a separate note, I would love to stand in the presence of Tom Jones. Aside from being a legend in every sense of the word, I always feel something powerful when he talks and if that comes through on video I can only imagine what it would be like in person. Just a classy guy.

If you're a singer and you get a chance to work with Tom Jones, in my opinion, there is no question that you would jump at that chance. He has been a singer for around 50 years so if he could teach these two something that would allow them to have that sort of longevity, they will indeed be blessed.

I always thought saying "I reckon" was an American preamble to any statement of belief, opinion, etc. It is said mostly by those living in (or being from) the South, and most of them being country folk. But I've heard it used a lot in the U.K. and also S. Africa. Which leads me to wonder if it originated in England and spread elsewhere via settlers.

Southern American English, especially on the east coast (VA, NC, SC) has Shakespearean/Elizabethan roots. The first settlers from England landed in VA, NC, and even parts of New England. The Tidewater (VA) and Outer Banks (NC) areas still use a lot of the same words and pronunciations, especially words with ou, like about, flounder, trout, chowder, have retained their British pronunciations in NC. And words like tide, bike, ride, are pronounced toyed, book, and roid. I had college friends from the Outer Banks of NC. It's an amazing mix of so many dialects in NC. The Boston accent also has British roots. I have cousins in Ireland, and they use some words that definitely sound souhern.

It's so they don't judge the singers on their looks, they judge them by their voice only before turning around.

With all due respect i don't see the fuss. They're very basic and really nothing to rave about. Real talent is getting harder and harder to find. Not to mention that they sang a song that literally was made for only one person, Whitney.

"With all did respect" and then proceeds to say something very disrespectful. Never fails. They're very good. I also think they liked that they were a duo and had great harmonies. And singing Whitney for an audition and doing well shows you do a lot of other things that aren't nearly as complicated. (What the 5 actual musicians on the stage said about picking them)
