I'm in Sydney, and watching this on Saturday arvo, and Richard has me dancing around the loungeroom! These are the songs the both Richard, and myself, grew up with - 70's and 80's rock - and his voice suits the style to a "T". When Simon was saying that he'd made the wrong song choice, all I was thinking was "Shut up Simon! You're an idiot"! And I am so glad that Richard stuck to his guns, as it was DEFINITELY the right choice. I just hope that Richard makes his way over to Australia, as I would pay to see him perform any day of the week!! 🇭🇲

I couldn’t think of a more deserving person than Richard. There was so much talent - and so an incredible shout out to all of those in the finals. There was something about Richard’s last performance that was epic! The nerves were completely gone.. Journey accompanying his performance ,and boy did He do it right!! Brent Street was definitely my next favorite.. Richard, I hope you know that you made so many of us feel wonderful watching you perform. You inspired millions of people God bless you and your family

When I saw him sing that song by Journey, I thought I was listening to Steve Perry in the flesh. I have never heard someone sound exactly like the real artist. Richard's voice is absolutely amazing and the fact that he is older and never gave up on his dream of singing. First time watching Richard on AGT, and WOW!! He had me dancing around the loungeroom, and no other contestant anywhere ( I'm in Australia) has ever had me doing that! This guy has the best voice. He really sounds like an old school, PROFESSIONAL, rockstar - the type we haven't seen or heard in a LONG TIME.
