I got the same one as you for a 2024 Nissan Frontier. It looks really good as yours is in the video. I washed my truck and I didn't see anything we're going to the back bed.. I would get this one again

How's this compare to the old one? Does this allow your tailgate to go down automatically? Look a lot sturdier and better
@chrisheeringАй бұрын
@@jreyagonoy1521 this on was much better. Auto tailgate had no issues releasing, the cover itself was very sturdy held up in the snow in Alaska and was water tight as well with the provided weather strips

Great video, did you apply the tape (that came in the box) behind the cab? Instruction #1. Doesn’t look like you did, any water issues? Additionally, you mention in another comment you previously added 3M tape. Can you show how you did this? Great idea. Thank you.

Thanks for the video. Does the included LED provide decent lighting? 0:45

how has this cover been holding up for you? all my previous trucks I've installed soft roll down covers but the velcro always seems to give out with time. This cover appears well made and a decent price. -2025 trd limited crewmax 5.5

@@rash0401 I’ve had it on for about two years from Alaska, to Las Vegas, then finally overseas in American Samoa and held up great in so many climates. amzn.to/3OpVjOO Amazon has not let me down with the different options as I’ve had both soft roll up and hard cover.

It's a good looking hard cover. Do you know, does that leak at all, does that allow rain water in at all? That's my main concern about so many of these covers. A good looking, segmented, hard cover, that does not leak, at all, ever, that's what I am looking for. I'd even consider getting a bed cap instead of a bed cover if that was the only way to guarantee no leaks. Each has their advantages, but no leaking, period, that's the priority, for me anyway.

took it through the car wash and not a single drop of water got through, i did put 3m tape all around from the last tonneau cover though so that played a part in it

The only way to get into your back would be by opening up the tailgate?

What size lift and tires do you have? Looks awesome

Just a 2” level on the front and 285’s for the tires with the factory 20” TRD wheels

Thanks for the video. Did you get anything to tighten those rear two clamps.?
@chrisheering Жыл бұрын
they are adjustable, they can be tightened to your choosing
@muerte9945 Жыл бұрын
@@chrisheering thanks for the reply. Guess I’m using the wrong word. I was talking about those aluminum blocks that you kept inside the rail system for the clamps to hold.. I see they were freely moving so was curious did they give any other part to tighten them after setting the positions for clamps
@chrisheering Жыл бұрын
@@muerte9945 those blocks are what the clamps attach to, they are secured when the clamp is latched, they move freely as they are adjustable.
