Today I had to jump my daughters car with the TopVision Multifunctional Jump Starter. Thing works great and has yet to let me down. Thanks for watching.

Glad to see it work. I love mine. People need to read the instructions. The plug has a code that says when its ready to start. A really dead battery sometimes takes a few minutes to work. And there are batteries with internal shorts that won't charge. This thing works great. People that have problems have done something wrong or they didn't follow the instructions. Oh well.

direction state to hook up cables to the battery first then plug into battery pack, glad it worked.

I know this is a few years old but, the button doesn't turn this unit on for jumping, it's on when you plug the cable cord in and that's when it starts timing down before shutting off. So I'd connect the cables to the battery first, then plug it into the jumper so you have more time to get into the car. The button is to turn on the accessories port power. And in case others don't know, this jumper doesn't charge up a dead battery, it's mostly supplying power to the starter motor so the engine can start and then the alternator can charge up the battery.

You actually have to do it in the correct order or it will not jump the car. A lot of people have discredited this unit when they’re actually at fault. Connect clamps to battery posts, then plug blue plug into jump pack, press the power button on jump pack so you see percentage, then start the vehicle. I’ve used this multiple times now over the last couple years and it’s never failed me. I’ve successfully jumped batteries showing 3 volts upon connection. My experiences say it’s a great product.

@@toeshifter Again, pressing the button on the jumper does nothing with regards to turning the jumper on. It's on once the clamp adapter is plugged in. The number shown on the display is just the percentage of power in the jumper lithium ion battery. What you look for is a blue light on the jumper clamp adapter that plugs into the jumper. A blue light means the cable connection to the jumper is good. Then a green light shows after clamped to the car battery, you now have around 30 seconds to start the car or the unit shuts off, as a safety precaution.

This thing is absolutely amazing. I can't believe it. I did my research and avoided the big booster packs from big stores and ordered this one instead for just over 100$ CAD and it is well worth every loonie. I charged it once I think in many years. Boosted a GMC V6 a couple times, mostly used to boost a 750cc ATV with a bad battery for every start for a few months and it still had 80-90% charge. A miraculous device for the size. PLus it charges you phone and acts like an emergency flashlight.

I charged mine the 1st time that I got it, now like a year later it's at 77% as well after a few uses, just trying to figure out on how to recharge back up again, I forgot on how to do so lol, it's the reason that I watched this video.

Every normal joe who I've seen review a jumper unit always installs the negative first LOL. The only person who i've seen do it correctly was scotty! This is also the reason why you heard it sparking when you went to connect the positive last.

Probably bad connection or low battery voltage. The led turn solid green when its ready to jump. I had to use another jump starter because my topvision didn't turn solid green and the other one an anker jump starter could jump start the car.

Good for you. I just tried to help start someone with a dead battery. Topvision was at 89%. Did not start the car. After a couple of tries it knocked it down to 20%. Never started the car.

Possibly done in the wrong order. Battery connections first, then plug into battery pack, then power up the pack. Then start the vehicle.

So how do I charge up the jump starter? Where is a plug-in to charge up the battery charger unit to get a full charge to jump charge car battery?

Should be a USB-C port on the bank itself. Any wall charger to USB-C will charge it.

I bought a TopVision jumper pack from Amazon and it worked for a while and then developed problems. Amazon has blocked my right to post a review there. So I'm posting my experience wherever it might help others to not waste their money with TopVision. I contacted their "customer service" on three occasions and they never made any effort to help me. Of course "your mileage may vary"

When fully charged to 100%, my unit discharges very quickly when used as a power source for my iPhone SE while playing KZbin videos. It was purchased approximately 1 1/2 years ago. After purchasing it, I used it to start my Smart Fortwo a couple of times. Now, I doubt that it has the storage capacity to perform the same task.

That’s a bummer. I use mine strictly as a jump pack for vehicles. Plenty of other packs around for electronics. Mine holds a charge endlessly it seems. Too bad your having problems
