TOPWAR: Amazing NEW BATTLE EVENT

It looks nice. small group events like loot quest is super nice. only problem with this event is topwar does not have good match making system and this will limit the event drastically for players, if an opponent has huge accounts they will keep on sending you back to the spawning area, like PJ4U was mentioning. This means the battle system will need a rework for example that if 10 players are together and one big player comes the group has 10 attacks and the big player will hit randomly into the 10 either attacking or defending, not like we have in topwar where a big player steam rolls a building with 20 people inside. The adjustment makes sense because if you were on a battlefield and an opponent attacks a building which you are protecting you wont wait to attack/fight back? Also we will have to split some ranking into smaller and bigger type of players. maybe you have healers on the battlefield and they wont have any ranking

@@t-me8295 But remember the golddigging issue in WoW classic, or the bugexploit on old glitches brought back on Dofus classic. A classic mode only works if the devs "contain" the evolution from the world around the game, I have doubts RG could manage that

As someone who plays both games, I feel there are drawbacks with the wonder event in aoem. Basically if your alliance has enough strong players, they can be stationed near the respawn point. That limits any points the other player can get and you will wipe out atleast 5-6 players troops hence increasing points.

Now use your sense in these events so that you can fight at least sometimes. The times were the worst it could be and take into account that we players are from many different time zones.

I think most of us are more concerned with in-game cost, poor drop rates and poor event schedules outside the weekend. No need to dismantle Top War to reflect other games.

@t-me8295 T-me, you may agree with me that Top War has frequently been over-modified -and within a short period of time. Most players, even some whales, could hardly keep up with such radical changes...including Titan gears, Enigma beasts, new formation set up ($19.99 per event just for 40 of these cubes). I think most players are NOT disputing game content. Top War should remain Top War without changing its designs, features, or content, to mimic other games. If I wanna play an event similar to Ark of Osiris of Rise of Kingdoms (or from your new found game), I would just download and play RoK. I really appreciate that you keep the pressure up in addressing the excessive incompetence of Top War developers. However, let us keep the focus on getting Top War to: (1) improve drop rates, (2) increasing the resources to speed up the completion of class specialization (than waiting 5 years for many of us to reach morale 10. (3) fair competition. (4) eliminating price gorging, including cost discrimination -between China regional servers and the rest of the World- and ending excessive inflation, et cetera. I thought the art on that map looked way too advanced to be Top War... While it would be great to have an event that allowed us to fight without the psychotic costs Top War demands of us, they are far too greedy to design something simply for the players' enjoyment. I'm only continuing to play so my high CP doesn't hurt my server, but I haven't spent any money for a long time. They don't deserve it. They are clueless how to make the game fun and engaging without draining our funds to play. If they halved the costs and limited the max amount of items people could buy, f2p players could stay competitive and they might build a truly loyal fan base. As it is, people are loyal to their friends and staying simply because they're stuck in the psychological traps so prevalent in the game.

Which friends? People who you’ve never met in person or will probably never ever see? What will happen to the daily communications with such ‘friends’ when all the severs shut down suddenly, I.e. game closes down for good. In other words, it doesn’t mean anything…

@HaidurShah21 Fair points, but I'm not sure if you're arguing against the reason people stay to play this game or just that these "friends" aren't the same as those we call friends in real life. I agree with the latter, mostly, but I have stayed in touch with a couple people who have left the game. Definitely still not the same level of friendship as those in real life, but it's something.

No T-me. This event only reflects a "Rise of Kingdom" event. The march time sounds too long. Many of us are satisfied with Titan Canyon.
