Congratulations on that snook, great sized and sorry about the shark, but more importantly, you still have all your digits 🤗. Love seeing your garden, soooo many carrots and once your trellis is covered from the squash, it’ll look anazing! Thank you for sharing Erica, I always enjoy your videos 😃

I was on the river today too, I’m pretty sure I figured out where you were at based on the channelside towers. I’ll def check it out over there, I have a good red spot over by shipping containers on the shoreline of by 41. Thanks for sharing :)

Very excited Erica to see spaghetti squash on the trellis and looks like another raging crop of cucumbers as well. Potatoes have the most beautiful flowers, ground squirrels here totally wiped mine out.

Erica, your killin it, I wish I could be there. I just love your super expensive, extravagant anchoring pole! $1,999 vs a $20-$30 pole and rope. An old salt learns a new trick every day! Keep bringing it baby. Caio girl!

My dad was stationed at McDill AFB in the late 1960s. I loved Tampa. We used to camp and fish at a place called Twin Lakes, I'm not sure if it is still there, I think it was drained by a sink hole. I caught my first bass on a red and white Lazy Ike there. I'm from north central Arkansas.

Should give the Braden river a shot sometime. I live on this river about an hour south of you. Wife and I caught 4 Redfish....4 Snook....2 ladyfish (who cares) in roughly two hours time yesterday. See dolphins several times a week. Had a large sting ray swim past the boat just to do a uturn and come pace the trolling motor right next to the boat for a good 10 minutes. Sat and fished around a half dozen manatees last week. Few gators from time to time. Otters seldom but once in a while. Woke up to first time ever seeing Green parrots in my trees. All in my backyard...absolutely love this river. Give it a shot if you happen to find the time. Short drive. Either way, great video.

I don't know if I commented yet but where do you put your boat in the river or do you live on the river so is it always in? Additionally, is it safe to put a stern drive in there? Some rivers have to many shallow areas aand I don't like putting my boat in it.

At 10:30 I started grinning. The bite, the fight, the shriek of the reel. An adrenaline rush like a roller coaster ride. The moment you tried to lift the fish into the boat, I almost died. It's lucky that "only" the fishing line broke. How does it feel to be bitten by an angry shark? I have no idea, but I'm not really keen on finding out. Have a nice day or night today. take care stay safe

Not a dumb question! Theyre line spikes, for fly fishing. They keep the line that sits at your feet from sliding into the water. They’re soft & flexible, not sharp
