The belly of the bait is what's most important because that's what they'll see. I use a lot of pink, orange and chartreuse. Sometimes white if it's stained water.

On the SW8 (Smaller) Skitter walks I use #4 VMC 4x Sure set hook on the back, #4 4x VMC hook forward. When throwing the larger SW11 Skitter walks I use #2 6x VMC Sure Set for the back hook, #2 6x VMC Fish fighter treble forward.

Buster Merritt: for the smaller SW8 skitterwalk I use: #4 4x sure set hook for the rear hook. For the SW 11 plug, I use #2 sure set 6x rear hook.
