Yes dear you can use it.. but a ring holder is always better than a clamp holder when dealing with rings in terms of stability, control and opening range. Also you have to make sure that the range of the clamp holder’s opening is sufficient so as not to encounter any difficulties while placing the ring.

The notched/concave side of the matrix faces the gingiva and not occlusal. But over all nice video.

Hello dear; The concave part should be occlusal to mimic the shape of the marginal ridge which is concave in the middle.. and the convex part should be placed gingivally to provide you with a better subgingival seal 😊 Kindly read the manufacturer’s instructions 👌🏻

I’m sorry I don’t get your point. I think you’re confused between the ring used with the matrix system and the clamp used to stabilize the rubber dam.

It slips off in most cases....not very practical...(ive used it)now stopped due to slipping
