In what situations should we use the small& large one?

Small to large relates to how long the arms are around the band. All saddle bands are 7mm high. So the situation to use each is based on how big the tooth is mesial to distal and getting the clip stable. Small bands are best for premolar, medium for molars and large for larger molars (generally). If you are using the band without the clip then it makes little difference in reality which size you use.
