This conversion teaching was definitely my favorite thus far. It explained so many important things. Thank you, Rabbi!

Glad that the question are being asked and answered. A question I have heard is "can one stay in the gray?"
@LapidJudaism2 жыл бұрын
There is no “grey”. :-) One is either hot or cold.

Michele Hays checking in. I have to chuckle about Rabbi's story about the person from the east coast thinking he would kosher-slaughter a deer lol. Truly tho, the story and concept of the mikvah and where the water comes from and how and why and so forth, is one of of my favorite things about Judaism ❤️

Rabbi G thank you for mentioning the books about the origins of Christianity. I wrote them down and will read them. I know alittle about the origin but your insight has taken me deeper. Thank you Sir.

Q: If we have the Torah then why do we need Messiah? A: It takes two witnesses to establish a matter. We need BOTH the Torah and the Messiah to be Kosher.

The reason that the messianic "rabbis" do not follow Torah and believe that they shouldn't or do not have to is because they follow Paulinian Christianity.

Wonder if the dreams i have had about in a river is my soul searching for a mikvah

I believe it was called The Soreg Wall, yeah? The one prophesied in Ezekiel 44…

My understanding the reason they insist Ruth wasn't converted is Deut 23:3 and refusal to recognize Oral Law as valid.

And in so doing they invalidate David, half of the Tanak and the Messiah.

Did I miss the definition of sin?
@LapidJudaism Жыл бұрын
Sin is breaking the Torah (Law of Moses).

I thought going to the mikvah was about spiritual impurity? Spiritual purity has nothing to do with sin. In fact, performing mitzvot sometimes leads to spiritual impurity.
@LapidJudaism4 ай бұрын
It is. That is all correct.

Not defending anything I do believe Christianity uses john gospel as their baptism ceremony thing it just seems that way from the old observation I had with that past religion I could be wrong
