One thing I found out from curiosity was you can end a run and then run back to the vendor on the 5th floor after beating the boss and buy any cosmetics and such that he had with your phantasma so you can earn the ‘hoarder’ bonus as well as pick up anything he has like that. I knew my friend was buying every cosmetic she saw on our runs so I was being sure to save over 1k phantasma and just went back after looting the soul cinders and bought the shoulders.

Torghast is literally the only reason my wife and I still play WoW. It's the only area where you can do fun content where you don't have to deal with toxic players.

An important thing to know is that if you're going for the adamant vaults you don't want to kill the broker on your run because if you kill it, it will remain dead when you enter the vaults

if you are empowered as you enter a broker floor (floor 3) it pauses the empower decay timer, but you count as empowered for the whole floor. So robbing that broker is possible.

I spent 2.5 hours in Torghast climbing to the 18th floor without dying only to wipe on the last boss and ended up with absolutely nothing but a high repair bill. So frustrating and irritating. Gonna be a long time until I go back in that masochistic place.

That’s 9.0 Torghast. 9.1 Torghast is just prolonged 9.0 experience. Once you get enough box of many things, the 9.1 Torghast will revert to 9.0’s experience. I’m glad they added the vault for some actual bonus, and they added cinder to other parts of the game rather than locking it behind Torghast, but it’s still baffling that some simple addition would have just made 9.0 Torghast fun. You should only have to run it once for your weekly ash, ash should drop in incremental from all the floor bosses, floors and wings should connect to each other like the corridor, the mobs should scale quicker, turn the gameplay into real rogue like where the higher you go the more and better rewards you get, with higher floors have better chance to drop rare powers. They don’t need to add “affixes”, just some simple tweaks would have been fine.

How do these bonuses work for groups? If one person takes an epic out of 5, do you lose all bonus points?

Inconsistent based on the bonus and the group size. E.g. only one person of 3 needs to get 30 anima powers for that bonus, but at least 4 of 5 need to take no epics for that one. I've been trying to test it but different behaviour based on group size makes it a hell of a job to test.

This video is so fucking clutch. I have been doing runs every week, not dying, taking my time and doing EVERYTHING and getting 4 stars consistently. I did NOT realize that things you do during empowerment DOUBLES your freaking points. That could have been guaranteeing me 5 stars since day one. How come blizzard is so bad at getting this information across. I have been playing WoW for over a decade and I have to watch supplemental videos to get vital information for important content. Ugh....anyway rant over but thank you for this information.

my issue with the Torghast system is really how many runs a week you need to farm the Tower Knowledge and those bonuses REALLY can turn the tide of the higher floors, especially by negating the Torments entirely.

i wouldnt worry about the duplicate powers. getting duplicate of some powers makes most of the other bonuses a lot easier to achive. also if you kill the broker with ravenous anima cell, and maybe even with the blessing. theres been reports that it may trigger for that broker to be in your adamant vault which now wont happen because said broker is dead. dunno if that fact is true, just know its been reported by players.

I know which one you mean, but that's another boss. I should have looked at the torments/blessing. I know my cooldowns were greatly reduced (pummel 5 sec, recklessness 30 sec for example) and i noticed casttime from enemies were much faster. But the boss was casting his buff as well with a 0.5sec cast time. I tried to interrupt it using some luck. but wheni had him on 40%hp he don his 10 casts

the difficulty of torghast is "exactly" the same, except for the fact that you face the boss one level earlier so you wont have quite as many powers and i dont know if the bosses have been nerfed accordingly (however i assume they have.) so if you've struggled with killing the end bosses before this rework, it might be a bit tougher, but it should still be very soloable for all classes

2500 Phantasma in total for all people, you can divvy it up between all 5 people any way you like. So if you're also going for no duplicates, maybe a few of you save up more Phantasma than others do.

Not enough earned bonuses. You basically can’t die, finish 100% AND do so in a timely manner. That’s the basics. Then you need to get a couple special bonuses like executioner and whatnot. Just look it up on wowhead

You can offset the time with the different bonuses. The different bonuses equal out to much greater than 100 pts, especially when empowered. So it might work out better to do them while empowered.

I intentionally went to prove this one wrong, and ran a 232 score run after going afk for half an hour. 0 points from time. You do not need to go fast. You can if you want, but good use of empowerment and getting the bonuses will get you there very easily.

it's per lockout, you have to do a Flawless run for the 2 extra floors, instead of leave you'll go up to floors 6 & 7 for bonus loot, just ace the first five floors and you're good to go.

You absolutely do not get bonus points of Empowerment when you complete tasks like opening chests or saving someone. Just did a L12 run while specifically using Empowered to complete exactly those two things because I was surprised that you can after you mentioned it, and I've gotten an Empowerment bonus of +11. Plunderer gives 10 and Rescuer gives 5, so by no means should it be only +11, especially when I also used it for other things. Would be pretty sweet to not spread misinformation as a popular content creator, claiming that it can be done as well as that you've done it before.

this would be great. I'm hesitant to swap mainly because our damage already seems so bad outside of CDs and with venth it will be even worse. In raid, not that bad of a problem but to go from pack to pack in a dungeon and do less than tank damage feels bad.

Pretty easy... provided you're in a group, are very well geared, and play a class that can wreck mobs across the room.

I've been getting flawless runs solo on chars with 25 ilvls below recommended. par time is class specific. If you're playing a class with bad clear times your par times will be higher. The only time that killing things fast and in numbers matters is when you press your empowerment button, and every class can burst a decent amount of stuff down with cooldowns. Just go in with a plan, focus on your completion and bonus points, and don't die.
