This is the purest version of this song, full stop. Jon added *so* much to it with the bass, too. He told me that she gave him like 99% free reign on bass when he played with her. It's all him as far as the bass goes, and it added so much power to it.

Looking for a Savior outside herself, she realized the Savior was within her, she was her own Savoir the whole time. It took going to this deep dark lonely place, constantly crucifying herself over relationships, for undeserving people for years. All those times she cried for people who could care less, had other motives, She took that shit personally and hated herself even more. I wish i could go back to all those times and tell her, you are worthy of love, you are deserving of love, you are love., if a person doesnt realize you are a beautiful loving person, with a beautiful kind soul trying her best in this fucked up world and circumstance. Someone else will, and even it takes years decades to meet this person, know that being alone gives you time to develope unconditionally love for and within yourself A relationship doesnt define you, you define the retionship, it takes a strong willed woman to be alone, its easy to meet people, yes i could meet and date people too, if i feared being alone. I dont, and it will take an extraordinary person who proves their worth if they are worthy of me, i will never settle. ( i kind of took over with my "I" story. This song resonated with me for 10 years never knowing until now)

I am not a huge fan of Tori but I do love her singles. I wish I could get into her live but for some reason I just feel like she "streches" out her vocals live on every song most of the times and it just doesnt do it for me.
