These look great for tying my Oztent RV3 on my roofrack, but as an old age pensioner I will have to stick with my 2 bits of Telstra rope 😂.

Haha, the good old Telstra (or Telecom) rope, can't go wrong. ~ Ben

I have a pair of retractable ratchet straps that keep jamming. Just ordered a pair of these to use instead - hopefully they’re a quick easy way to strap my swag on the back of the ute.

Sold! Hopefully they hold up well to salt water, as I will be using them to tie down my 12' Hobie One sailboat. Thanks for the review!

Salt water will shorten the life of anything, there is no two ways about it... unless you are a salt water fish I guess. Just make sure you give it a rinse, and maybe use some light grade oil on the metal parts to keep them protected. I wouldn't be too concerned though. ~ Ben

So these are a better version of ratchet straps ?

I think they are, much less mucking about. ~ Ben

Its somewhat similar to RokStraps, which I use but much higher breaking strength. Wow.

Similar, RokStraps are elastic though and the risk of injury is higher. ~ Ben
