Tormented Demons Guide + Triple KC CA (OSRS)

Here is the Tormented demon guides and an overview of Bone Claws, the Scorching bow, Emberlight and Purging staff! These are really fun to fight despite all the bugs surrounding them. A lot of unique weapons you wouldn't think are good here work incredibly well, blowpipe, dharoks axe, abyssal dagger, etc. Exploiting their weaknesses can get you easily in the realm of 60kph for about 10m gp/hr currently, with a nasty 60k slayer xp/hr on top. I hope to see Jagex pull more ideas from RS3 and refine them to better suit OSRS. The Triple Kill CA isn't too hard, everywhere is just crowded so it makes it hard to complete. It'll take you a few tries but overall, not too difficult if you are comfortable flicking and fighting one demon at a time.

Majority of bugs have been fixed, weapons and what not do correct damage now. Burning claws are now bis DPS over Abby dagger slightly and there are now 2 TDs in most of the caves, you can get closer to 70 kph alternating demons now fairly easily. Burning claws have had some bugs fixed as well, xarpus no longer kills you and verzik no longer heals on p2.

I saw Aatty at a grocery store in London yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front, I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first, he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Thankyou for all the testing you did with the new claws. I was initially upset with them because I thought that with the nerf to its base stab, idiotic name change, and the way calcs was showing it to behave, I was really worried the devs bent to the people calling for it to be nerfed so Dclaws wouldn't be "devalued". In this case I'm happy to have been proven wrong. Their name is even getting changed back to "Burning Claws" come Wednesday.

Great info on the claws! I guess people were expecting another boring slayer piñata, but I'm so happy to for the first time have a regular monster that actually has some interesting mechanics and is a bit more engaging to fight! Once they figure out some of the small bugs, it will be really nice. Rewarding good timing and switching of gear and prayers is just fun, I think they nailed it.

Dw about irons having to "grind out two" of them. Realistically, if they dropped as a complete set, it would've been double the drop rate. Just like how a venator bow would've been a 1/500 instead of 5x1/100 for venator shards. They were most likely designed to dropped as multiple for the sake of cloggers and irons (2 small drops has lower variance than 1 big drop).

I think the bow was hotfixed this morning? I'm getting 53 max hit (off task, not only for the big bonk attack either), same as on poh dummy. Emberlight gives same max on dummy vs TDs as well so I assume this means it's fixed?

You still need 10k charges. Infusion only useful if you dont have all 10k charges at once.

Purging Staff is not 20% lower max hit at TDs, it is a bit less than 10% i.e. I'm supposed to max 70, maxing 65 instead. Its accuracy however is probably 20% bugged, same at demonic gorillas.

I think it's worth mentioning SGS has a crush option, and fulfills the need to bring obby maul/dh axe for punishing as well. Also, these guys are NOT immune to venom, which is another reason blowpipe feels so great here.

Just started here as iron. If you have bp it's really nice here for getting hp back once you get your 100% accuracy. Bad DPS obviously, but with venom probably worth bringing anyways and use as a heal when you need it. Then a different DPS spec when you don't.

Great vid ty! Also I was doing some calcs and I believe the obby maul berserker necklace is hitting more than it should be. I’ve never hit below a 39 while using it (which is 33 bonus damage + 20% from necklace) and I’ve hit more than theoretical max hit. In my setup that’s 101 but I’ve hit a 102 so far. Would you be able to test this further? (I believe this happens in the vid at 2:22 as well)

I'm a bit confused - say the loadout is Arclight, Abby Dagger, Dharok's, and Blowpipe. Would it then be: - Dharok's big hit (Roar) - Arclight or Blowpipe until Accuracy Phase - Dagger spec if ready / Blowpipe until fireball? - Repeat until dead I'm guessing I also need a full range switch for blowpipe when it's off accuracy phase? Or do I bring Crystal + Bowfa in that case?
