TORNADO BOOST MODE g-force onride - BAKKEN[4K60fps]

You might notice that this ride *appears* to be slower than the normal mode. As you can see from the g-forces: It wasn't. Neither was the boost mode toned down. It turned out that our weight distribution was great for the normal mode, but not ideal for boost, causing our spin to be way less out of control. If you compare the time it took the car to hit the MCBR, you will see that Boost-Mode is as intense as ever and not recommended if you don't want to get bruised. As for why the final turn was measured less intense as in normal mode: This is likely due to a jolt, that coincided with our spin at that specific point in time. Short peaks may vary a lot on spinning coasters, depending on where in the spin it hits you. Please note that Boost-Mode will only be available if the queue is empty, as it slows down their operations quite a bit. Don't ask them if it's busy, and accept a "No" as an answer as well. They don’t do that manual spin anymore; but this was always manually done by an employee, the ride itself is the same. I actually achieved the fastest spins without any manual spin anyway. ~Kevin

Nice when you compare this to the non-boost ride u can really notice the differences, boost has alot more power to it and normal has some powerful moments but those are really short

Coming back from Dollywood, Lightning Rod should utilize a high speed hydraulic chain lift instead of a traditional one.

Judging from the latest POV, I don’t see any implications that LRs lift might be hydraulic. The speed strongly suggest a classic electric motor. Haven’t been there, though, so I might be mistaking ~Kevin
